The Alignment Advantage
Creating District Cohesion in
MTSS-Behavior Practices

Are teachers struggling to find behavioral practices that reliably work?

Do expectations and strategies shift dramatically from classroom to classroom or campus to campus?

Inconsistent behavior practices across classrooms and campuses can create confusion for educators and disrupt student progress. This session explores how intentional districtwide alignment of MTSS-Behavior practices—through shared language, clear expectations, and coordinated strategies—builds cohesion and simplifies implementation. Participants will learn practical approaches to foster collaboration, reduce variability, and create a unified framework that supports both staff effectiveness and positive student outcomes. Join us to discover how the power of alignment can transform your district’s behavior support system.

What You Will Learn

  • Identify key challenges caused by inconsistent MTSS-Behavior practices across districts and campuses.
