Participants will complete asynchronous learning through the Heart of Behavior modules to acquire the knowledge and skills to conduct quality functional behavior assessments (FBA) and develop effective behavior intervention plans (BIP). Each participant will connect virtually with a skilled Emergent Tree coach and cohort of participants to discuss the course, ask questions, and boost staff confidence and competence in the FBA and BIP process.

Amanda has been in special education and behavior support for the last 15 years in several different capacities. As a special education teacher, she supported students with Autism and other social behavioral needs in both general education and special education settings. Amanda is passionate about education and finds her purpose in solving behavior problems so that all students can access meaningful learning and relationships in school and into adulthood.
